Einladung: Audioliterale Lyrik zwischen Performance und Mediatisierung

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,

Wir möchten Sie herzlich zur zweiten internationalen Tagung unseres ERC-Forschungsprojekts ‚Poetry in the Digital Age‘ einladen, welche vom 11.-13.5.2023 im Warburg-Haus Hamburg zum Thema ‚Audioliterale Lyrik zwischen Performance und Mediatisierung‘ stattfindet. Die Konferenz widmet sich unter anderem folgenden Schwerpunkten: den techno-poetischen Umwelten audioliteraler Lyrik und ihrer posthumanen Oralität, den performativen Verkörperungen und multisensorischen Begegnungen performter Lyrik, den medialen Überschreitungen und transkriptiven Bewegungen aufgezeichneter Poetry Performances und schließlich dem poetischen Aktivismus, wenn gegenwärtige Lyrik vermittels sozialer Medien Öffentlichkeiten neu vernetzt.

Gern weisen wir auch auf die im Rahmen der Tagung stattfindende Performance „All Machine 2013-2023“ von Kinga Tóth um 20:30 Uhr im Nachtasyl, Thalia Theater hin. In ihrer multimedialen Live-Performance verbindet Kinga Tóth visuelle Poesie und Sound Poetry. Karten gibt es im Vorverkauf (z.B. https://www.thalia-theater.de/stueck/performance-kinga-toth—all-machine-2013–2023-2023) und an der Abendkasse (9 €).

Die Tagungssprachen sind Englisch und Deutsch.

Die Ergebnisse der Tagung werden 2024 in einem Band der neuen Buchreihe ‚Poetry in the Digital Age‘ (De Gruyter) veröffentlicht, über die wir Sie in Kürze auch noch separat informieren werden.

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to the second international conference ‘Audioliterary Poetry between Performance and Mediatization’. The conference is hosted the ERC-funded research project ‘Poetry in the Digital Age’ at the Universität Hamburg and will take place from 11-13/05/2023 at the Warburg-Haus Hamburg. The conference will focus on the techno-poetic environments of audioliterary poetry and its posthuman orality, the performative embodiments and multisensory encounters of performed poetry, the medial transgressions of recorded poetry performances, and the forms of poetic activism that reconnects the public with contemporary poetry through social media. 

We would also like to draw your attention to the performance “All Machine 2013-2023” by Kinga Tóth at 8:30 pm in the Nachtasyl, Thalia Theatre, which will take place in the context of the conference. In her multimedia live performance, Kinga Tóth combines visual poetry and sound poetry. Tickets for the performance (9 €) are available on the website of Thalia Theater (https://www.thalia-theater.de/stueck/performance-kinga-toth—all-machine-2013–2023-2023) and at the evening box office.

The conference languages are English and German.

The results of the conference will be published in 2024 in a volume of the new book series ‘Poetry in the Digital Age’ (De Gruyter), about which we will also inform you separately shortly.
